Cedar Creek Falls (Ramona, CA)

~5 miles | Moderate/Difficult

A popular hike in San Diego County, the trail to Cedar Creek Falls is a challenging pathway through backcountry hills and down an exposed canyon to a spectacular waterfall. This is a "reverse hike", with the first half of the trail is down in to the canyon/valley and the second half is the hike up and out. The waterfall spills into a nice little swimming hole to chill around and take a refreshing dip. This is where we will kick back, relax, have a beer and a snack.

This trail is closed during the summer due to extreme heat. Therefore we only offer this destination during the spring and fall. These are the best times because that is when we get more rain and the falls are really running.
